Tuesday Tech Tips - Marker Lubrication

Hi everyone! Today I want to cover the importance of the right lube for your marker. Most markers today do come with at least some lube in them from the factory but in most cases you will need to add more almost right away. Typically they usually come with some in the packaging. For example the Tippmann markers come with a tear open package of oil or grease depending on the marker. The problem is once you open it its bound to get contaminated or just spilt everywhere.
When purchasing a marker it is always wise to pick up some oil or grease at the same time so your marker is ready to get you the kills come game day.
Most electonic guns today use grease. Examples of this are all the Proto, Dye, Dangerous Power and Empire high end markers. Some of our favourite grease based lubes around the shop are:
Techt Gun Sav
Exalt Vitamin G grease
Dye Slick Lube
Now if you have a mechanical marker like a Tippmann 98, Tippmann A5, Spyder MR5 etc.. those take oil. Most oils are close to the same in terms of performance so either of these should work just fine.
Empire Marker 1oz Oil
Remember if your not sure what you marker takes or where to apply check your manual or just give us a call and we can help you out!
